Miguel Buisan, RPh, PhD

Miguel Buisan has worked at the Family HealthCare Pharmacy since 2005. He is involved in all aspects of prescription dispensing and clinical pharmacy care, including MTMs.

Education

Miguel completed his degree in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. He passed his Foreign Pharmacy Equivalency and Board exams in 2005.

Certifications

He is certified for Diabetes Care, Pain Management and MTM Services through the North Dakota ‘About the Patient’ program.

Interests and Activities

He provides pharmacy services to our Spanish speaking patients in their native language.  Miguel is responsible for compliance monitoring including auditing prescriptions and claims for accuracy.  Miguel also serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students on clinical rotation.
