About Allison Hursman, PharmD, BCGP
Allison is a clinical pharmacist who cares for patients and families of all ages, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention. She educates patients about their medications, delivers drug information to both patients and providers, and assists with disease state management for patients with chronic conditions.
Allison graduated from NDSU College of Health Professions with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
She is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP). She is also certified for Diabetes Care and MTM Services through the North Dakota ‘About the Patient’ Program and trained in the ONE opioid and naloxone Program.
In addition to her position at Family HealthCare, Allison is also an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at North Dakota State University, teaching pharmacotherapy and precepting pharmacy students on their Ambulatory Care clinical rotations at Family Healthcare. In her spare time, Allison enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
